| Field notes | (As 42694, but female) Acaulescent, clustering understory palm. No cirrus, no flagellum. Leaves to 5 m long with 40 regularly spaced pinnae on each side of the rachis. Inflorescence with 4 inflor. Total length of inflorescence 42 cm. Visited by pale red brown Trigona bees. Flowers in alcohol. Specimen should be cited as A. Bogh 42707. |
