| Field notes | Clustering, climbing rattan; stem c. 12 m long; internodes 20-30 cm long. Leaf pinnate; rachis 1.3 m long; cirrus up to 1.4 m long; leaflets 7-8 on each side of rachis, regularly arranged. Ants living in ocrea are very noisy and aggressive. |
