| Field notes | Tree 22 meters tall. Diameter 60 cm, bark smooth, with lenticles greyish brown. Buttress low to 0.5 meter, rounded. Inner bark reddish brown 3 mm thick, brittle, flying off after slasling. Exudate red, sticky, concentraded. Twigs brown with lenticles. Leaves green, yellowish green below, mid rb, petiole at inner surface yellowish. Peduncle brown. Fruits 1.4 cm x 1.2 cm, blackish when ripe. Aril brown, sweet, edible. Seed brownish, 1 (2) seeded. Vern. Name: Keranji madu |
