Field notes Solitary palm. Trunk 6 m tall, 9 cm in diameter, 8 leaves on the crown, leave 270 cm long, 41 leaflets on each side of the rachis and 90 cm long. Sheath lightgreen in color, 96 cm long. Inflorescence infrafolier and 25 cm long.The fruits of this palm can be eaten as bettle nut and the thrunk is used for bow. The root can be boiled and drink for stomagache. Vernacular Name : Mon (Matbaat Lang.)
