| Field notes | Total height 3.55 m. Stem is 3.40 m tall, dbh 7 cm. 7 leaves in crown. Leaf sheath + petiole is 41 cm, leaf rachis is 86 cm, 22-24 pinnae per side irregularly divided. Hastula present. Infrafoliar inflorescences, one at male anthesis, branched up to 3 orders. Peduncle and rachillae red. Lilac stamens. Peduncle + rachis 38 cm long with 19 branches. |
