| Field notes | Has simple, alternate, distichate leaves that become coriaceous and entire as the trees grow up. The sap has the colour of "cafe con leche". The trunk is smooth, gray and with lenticels on large individuals. Synonyms: Olmedia laevis Ruiz & Pav. Common name: Ojoso Colorado. |
