| Field notes | Mostly cow pasture with remnant montane forest. Terrestrial suffrutescent herb with erect stems to 0.5 m tall. Flowers axillary and pendent. Pedicel and calyx lobes red; lobes cucullate. Corolla orange. Inside of corolla with red blotches. Nectary a single bilobed gland on ventral surface.
