Field notes Suffrutescent terrestrial herb. Stems errect. Leaves distichous; abaxial leaf surface reddish-green to green. Immature flowers appressed to abaxial leaf surface. Mature flowers and fruits on an erect pedicel. Calyx green. Corolla red tubular. Not locally common, but abundant along small stream.
