| Field notes | Linea, 7 m high. Leaves papery, upper side glossy, dark green, lower side somewhat glossy, greyish green. Bracts purplish green. Pedicel white. Ovary pale green. Sepals palish purple, purple to apex. Outer 3 petals pale purple, inner 4 (staminodes?) dark purple, paler to base. Stamen (1) and style white. Young fruits obovoid, medium to light green with spines. Associated materials: leaf for DNA; Spirit collection [flowers, young fruits & leaf]. |
