| Field notes | Linea, 7 m high. Leaves thick papery, glossy, upper side darkish green, lower side[!] medium green. Bracts purple to brown, flowers white, lower lip with 2 yellowish lateral rims. Sepals pale purple. Fruits 3-lobed, broadly ellipsoid, 27 x 40 mm, medium green with spines. Associated materials: leaf for DNA; Spirit collection [flowers & fruit]. |
