| Field notes | Herbs, 2.2 m high. Leaves papery, upper side shiny, dark green with medium green midrib, lower side dull, grey-green. Sepals 3, marbled red and yellow. Petals yellow at base, pale translucent reddish marbled with yellow to apex. Staminods yellow, large staminod covers flower like a cap, dark red to apex. Associated materials: leaf for DNA; spirit collection(inflorescens). |
