| Field notes | Tree, c. 40 m high. Diameter at base 4.2 m, DBH 3.05 m, diameter at 7 m height 1.9 m. Leaflets papery, upper side glossy, dark green, lower side almost dull, medium green. Calyx pale green. Petals white, standard with a yellow base. Filaments white, anthers dirty yellow. Ovary and style pale green. Young pods pale green. Flowers visited by large bees (woodbees: Xylocopinae), honeybees (Apis mellifera), different species of butterflies (i.e. Pieridae) and birds, probably sunbirds (Nectarinia).
