| Field notes | Terrestial herb. Slightly clumped or with short trailing rhizome, base white, leaf sheaths green, ligule green, petiole green, leaves dark green with light green underneath. Inflorescence arising from the underground rhizome of a few centimeters from the base of the leafy shoots, peduncle bracts pale white or green; bracts green, calyx yellow, petals yellow, anther and stigma yellow. Fruits not seen. |
