| Field notes | Partly open, disturbed area in primary evergreen hardwood forest, granite bedrock. Erect, straggling, glandular-sticky herb; stems 1-2 m long; stems, leaf axes, inflorescences axes, calyx light green; standard outside whitish, inside lilac to violet, fading blue-green; with 2 green blots above the claw; wings & keel lilac to violet, fading blue-green anthers & stigma pale light yellowish, filaments & style whitish with a faint lilac hue, ovary & immature pods light green; flowers lasting one day & leaflets dark green and often with paler green along the main nerbes above, light green below |
