| Field notes | Rhizome brown outside; light yellowish and aromatic inside, stems green and often with dull reddish; peduncle sclaes whitish to faintly pinkish; bracts dull dark reddish; calyx dull dark pinkish; corolla tube whitish, lobes translucent white; staminodes light yellowish, lip white; anther connective orange; locules light orangish; blades dark green with greyish along the midnerve above, light green underneath. |
