| Field notes | Shrub to 1.5 m tall; stems green and ageing brownish; inflorescence axes and epicalyx, calyx light green; corolla: lower part (tube): outside yellow-brownish, inside with a solid base of dark maroon, lobes yellow on both sides; filaments & style light greenish, anthers & stigma orangish; blades dull dark green above, light green below; corollas closing in afternoon. |
