| Field notes | Open, disturbed margins of the mostly primary evergreen forest with some deciduous tree; granite bedrock shrub 1.5 m; older stream tan, younger parts dull dark red & green; branchlets, main inflorescence axes light green, glandular-sticky; pedicels greenish-maroon calyx tube greenish, lobes maroonish; standard whitish outside, inside with dense pink, radiating lines in the upper 1/2 wings: upper 1/2 violet, lower 1/4 white; keel mostly light greenish; leaflets green above, light green underneath |
