| Field notes | Partly open, disturbed area bordering agricultural fields in mixed evergreen deciduous hardwood forest; granite-shale bedrock shrub/ scandent, basal diameter 2-3 cm; bark thin, smooth, grey; receme axes green; pedicels greenish-brownish; calyx dull dark maroonish; standard pale violet-whitish outside, dark violet inside and with a large greenish area medially in lower 2/3 inside, dark violet; keel pale lith greenish, upper part pale ligth violet anthers & stigma tan, filaments & style white; immature pods greenish; leaflets dark green above, light underneath. |
