| Field notes | Habitat mostly shaded, disturbed (cut) places in the mostly primary evergreen forest with some deciduous trees, tea plantation; granite bedrock in soil; stems dull red-brown; inflorescence nodding, axes & both sides of bracts green; bulbile whitish to light green; calyx, corolla, stamen, staminodes, fruits orange; lip orange with a dark red mid-spot; blades dark green above, light green and partly to entirely maroon underneath. |
