Field notes Mostly open places in the mostly leafless deciduous forest with some bamboo; limestone bedrock. Treelte and usually twining at the top, 2-3 m long, basal diameter 2-3 cm; bark thin, smooth, tan; branchlets and raceme axis green; raceme nodes yellow-greenish; pedicels and calyx dull red-maroonish; standard outside tan-light greenish standard inside and upper 1/2 wings violet, standard inside with light greenish mediall keel & filaments whitish, upper margin of keel purplish anthers anthers light yellowish; leaflets dark greeen above, green below.
