| Field notes | Primary evergreen forest, granite bedrock; presently open area. Tree 18 m, dbh 75 cm; bark thick, roughly cracked, grey-blackish; infructescence axes coral-red, fruits glossy light green with paler spots, light green inside, cotyledons cream; blades dull dark green above, dull light greenish underneath, fruits up to 4.5 x 2.5 cm. Common name: guy mee. |
