| Field notes | Shaded to partly open places along the dirt road in the deciduous forest, granite bedrock; erect, single stem 1.5 m tall; internodes green, nodes reddish; raceme axis and bracts green and becoming reddish; pedicels and calyx mostly reddish; standard cream-lilac to somewhat blueish at the tip, above the claw in side with 2 yellowish spots surrounded by purple; wings: upper part bluish to blue, lower part cream; keel and filaments white-whitish; leaflets dark green above, light green underneath |
