| Field notes | Tree 10 m, dbh 30 cm; bark smooth, grey-brownish; sap white; pedicels, sepals, petal buds greenish, sepals often turning red, mature patals pale yellowish; filament bundles pale yellow, anthers whitish; processes (glands?) at the base of the filaments pinkish; flowers with a sour odour; blades dark green above, pale light greenish underneath. ♂. |
