| Field notes | "Arborescent, 7 m high (observed 3-12 m high). Trunk present, 20 cm wide (seen to 40 cm wide), bearing strong spines (often caducous on old plants). Stems suberect, 0.5-2(-4) m long, green. Fruits to 5 cm wide, subhemispherical, green. Flesh of fruit white. Liquid material available at AAU." |
