| Field notes | Shrubby or arborescent, 2-7 m high. Cephalium 15-80 cm long. Flowers opening at 7 pm: tube pinkish red; petaloids pinkish red with white margins. Berry 2-4 cm wide, pink, dropping at maturity. Fertile material collected from several individuals. Liquid material available at AAU. |
