| Field notes | Scrambler. Flowers purple, funnel-shaped, to 10 cm long and wide. Stamens 5, unequally long. Anthers white, 1 cm long. Most plants leafless now, but profusely flowering and fruiting. (I. carnea subsp. carnea). |
