| Field notes | Lithophyte on steep rock in full sun. Stem green, asending to pendent, 30-60 cm long, 7-10 cm wide, 8-10 mm tick, woody at base. Stem-margin crenate. Areoles 2.5- 3.5 cm apart. Spines absent except at basis of plant and here inconspicuous. Branching mainly from bas. Sterile collection. One individual seen of this suppo- sedly rare species, but more plants may grown on the inaccessible rocks above the river. Live material available at AAU. |
