| Field notes | Bush, 1-2 m high. Spines white. Flower orange, limb widely spreading. Outer tepals 5-15 mm long, greenish at base and midrib, reddish at top. Inner tepals orange on inside, orange with reddish base on outside. Style pale, reddish at top. Stigma-lobes yellowish green. Filament reddish below, yellowish orange obove. Anther white. Nectarferious tissue yellow. |
