| Field notes | Bush, to 1.5 m high. Joints dark green, new ones light green. Flower about 3 cm long, about 2 cm wide, limb expanded. Pericarp 1.5-2.0 cm long, covered with numerous, brownish glochids and reddish brown leaves. Outer tepals yellowish, getting orange. Inner tepals orange. Style not well-developed, whitish. Filament orange, white below. Anther white. |
