| Field notes | Tree, to 5 m high or more. Grow up through dense shrub, overgrown by epiphytes. Joints erect, very long, bluish. Ribs about 7-8. Areoles about 8 mm in diameter, yellowish white. Spines dark brownish, getting greyish. |
