| Field notes | Plant either upright or climbing on the rocks, 4-5 cm in diameter, 11-13 ribbes, dark green, with V-furrow. Spines 10-15, edge-spines up to 1 cm, one or a few longer (max. 4 cm), brown, new ones darker, lighter at the basis. Fruit green, not ripe. Seeds black. |
