| Field notes | Plant up to 40 cm tall, very branched. Spines few, until 5 cm, light with darker tips, new ones are yellow. Flower light orange red to dark orange red. Fruit round, perhaps a little lengthy, only few spines. The observed fruits have not got colour yet. |
