| Field notes | Slender palm, clustering, to 4m tall; stem green, ca . 10mm diam., internodes 2cm, dark green by the nodes, pale green between the nodes; crownshaft 25cm, green with chocolate-coloured scales. Leaves 7 in the crown, with 3-4 pairs of broad or narrow sigmoid leaflets- with twisted tips. Inflorescence pendulous, cherry red, hairy, with cherry-red fruit. |
