Field notes
Slender clustering palm. Stems close clumping to 4m tall, usually less, ca. 1.5mm diam., green, darker at the base of each node, paler distally. Leaves ca. 15 in crown; crownshaft ivory white with rusty tomentum. Leaves ca. 65cm long, arching, 3-4 pairs at sigmoid leaflets, tips twisted, young leaves tinged pink. Inflorescence pendulous, to 50cm, covered with pale hairs.
