| Field notes | Evergreen forest, steep hillslope and valley bottom near stream. Climbing to 20 m, clustering stem without sheaths 7 mms with 1 cm, sheaths green with dense green spines. Internodes short. Flagella to 2 m. Leaf to 50 cm with short petiole and 6-8 rather borad distant leaflets , dark green on each side, somewhat plicate. Inflorescence to 2 m long. Fruit rounded green |
