| Field notes | Authropogenic grassland. Growing on old termine mounds above an apparent area or seasonal waterlogging. Stemless clustering palm growing on termite hills pseudopetiole to 40 cm armed with acanthophylls. Leaflets about 30 on each side, glaucous, arranged in 2's and 3's in several planes. Infructescence to 50 cm rachilla orangery green. Ripe fruit black. |
