| Field notes | Tree 15 m, growing by the side of the lake. The leaves pale green. The veins on the lower surface yellowish green. Stipules first green, decidious, when falling off they have turned brown. Leaves up to 12x5.5 cm. Stipules 2 cm. Fruits round 1 cm in diam., first dark green, later orange. No marked differences between younger and older leaves. Latex white. Bitter tasting. |
