| Field notes | Solitary, up to 25 m. Diam. with leaf sheath to 8 cm, to 1 cm without leaf sheath. Intemodes to 30 cm in length. Knee conspicuous. Leaf sheath greyish, smooth surface. Spine in leaf sheath very rare, in group of two or single spine, scattered. Leaves in one plane. Leaflets irregularly arranged, 15 in each side, in distance of 10 to 15 cm. Leaves to 2,0 m including petiole to 20 cm. Cirrus up to 300 cm. Inflorescence female, to 7 branches, in 40 cm in distant. Local Name Kou |
