| Field notes | Solitary palm 15 m. tall. Leaves total 4-5 m. long. Petiole around 1 1/2 m. long. 32 pair of leaflets + leafapix + leafbase (4 pair in cluster). Underside of leave white waxy. Uses: The palmshoot is eaten as vegetable. Name in Kelabit language: Ubud Deramar. |
