| Field notes | Tree, some 35 m. tall. Uses: Prevention of leeches: rub the inside of the bark onto the skin/clothes and the leeches will stay away. As poison for tuba fishing: The bark is crushed and thrown into the river and the fish get stunned. The wood is used as firewood. Name in Kelabit language: Palang. |
