| Field notes | 1.7m. tall plant. Leaves with purple underside. Crushed leaves and stem have smell of cyanogenic compounds. Uses: The leaves were formerly used to wrap cooked sticky rice that was to be used for rice wine brewing. Name in Kelabit language: Lalid payor / Terang uba. |
