| Field notes | Tree, some 5 m. tall. Crushed leaves smell strongly of lemongrass. Uses: The leaves are used in cooking as a spice. Medicinally, If the body hurts after a fall etc. the body is placed on a thick layer of pounded leaves, beneath is a fire that heats the pounded leaves, see drawing. Name in Kelabit language: Ubarr Bawing. |
