| Field notes | Semi herbacious plant some 2-3 m. tall, common. All parts have a very characteristic aromatic smell when crusched. Flowers yellow-greenish. Uses: Medicinal, tea made from the roots against diarrea, tea made from the leaves against any stomach disorder, general exhaustion and good for childen with fever, After giving birth women take bath in water boiled with the leaves to give strenghts and to prevent infections. Name in Kelabit language: Daun Ipung. |
