| Field notes | Sp. E. Climper. Uses: medicinal: The water from the stem is good to drink against diarrea especially small childrens diarrea. To prevent leache-bites: Keep a little piece in your shoes and leache will go for you. I tried it out and all the leaches I found refused to crawl on the wood or on the fingers that had been in contact with that wood. Name in Kelabit language: War Ilang Uko. |
