| Field notes | Woody liana in the canopy 10 cm. dia. Uses: As kitchen utensil: The endocarp is used as a spoon for soup and porage. To paralyze bees: The bark is removed from the woody part that is dried. This will burn slowly with a lot of smoke that will paralyze (not kill) the bees. Name in Kelabit language: War Payang Bok. |
