| Field notes | Tree some 15 m. tall. Ripe fruits are rosa-red. Uses: Edible fruit. medicinal against sprains: The bark is crushed and heated over the fire and then appied under the bandage on the affected part. The wood is considered especially good for the making of "Sapé", a guitar like music instrument. The wood is also used for planks. Name in Kelabit language: Talal Siah. |
