Field notes Tree some 6 m. tall. Leaves can get longer than 1 m. Uses: Wood good for planks, light wood. Wood for propellas to scare away birds in the padi fields. Young shoots are peeled, cooked and eaten as vegetable. Name in Kelabit language: Telatang.
