| Field notes | In secondary forest around Pa Dalih, Kelabit Highlands, 4th. division, Sarawak. Altitude: 1050 m. Epiphyte on 60 cm. d.b.h. tree. Uses: As medicinal plant: The rhizome is cut in small pieces and boiled. The tea is drunk against tuberculosis (patients caughing blood) and it is said to stop people from vomitting. Name in Kelabit language: Deredtang (female). |
