| Field notes | Bamboo some 15 m. tall. Uses: This bamboo has a neverending list of uses for construction, musicinstruments, handels, kitchenutensils etc. This bamboo is the strongest of the bamboos present in Kelabit highlands. The shoot is eaten as vegetable and the water from the internodes is drinkable. Name in Kelabit language: Buluh Betong. |
