| Field notes | Small ginger. Uses: Medicinal, against stomach problems, the rhizome is cut in small pieces and smeared on the stomach. Generally for bodypains, the rhizome is rubbed in the hands then the painful part is massaged with the hands. This one is also used by the Manang, but they do not know how he uses it. Name in Iban language: Japar manang. |
